Organization
The Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center (LCPSTC) opened in 2006 as a
joint venture between the County of Lancaster, Lancaster County Career and Technology
Center and the Lancaster County Fireman's Association.
These organizations formed the partnership in order to provide premier public safety
training for all emergency service organizations. The Lancaster County Public Safety
Training Center also serves as the county's Multi-Agency Coordination Center (MACC)
in the event of a major disaster.
The Center offers a wide variety of training programs for police, fire, healthcare
and emergency-service personnel as well as response and safety training for private
industry and other organizations. Emergency workers and students receive state-of-the-art
training at the Center's rifle-range building, burn tower, drill tower, control
