Nortel VPN Routers provide dynamic routing services over encrypted VPN tunnels,
mix-and-match IP services (routing, VPN, firewall and advanced services) and common
provisioning, all on a single platform.
The Nortel VPN Router 5000 is a next generation platform, providing up to 5000 VPN
tunnels to securely connect branch offices and remote workers to enterprise headquarters
and large regional sites.
The Nortel VPN Router 2700 provides up to 2000 tunnels to securely connect remote
workers and branch offices to large branch offices or headquarters sites.
Nortel VPN Routers 1700 Series adapt to several roles: basic IP access router, dedicated
VPN switch, or firewall - for office centers, campuses, or branch offices requiring
up to 500 tunnels.
Nortel VPN Routers 1000 Series adapt to several roles in enterprise and carrier
networks: basic IP access router, dedicated VPN switch, or firewall.
The Nortel VPN Router 600 adapts to several roles in secure VPNs: customer-premise
device to connect branch offices with each other and with headquarters, basis for
small hub-and-spoke or mesh extranet or branch-to-branch applications, or small-business
headquarters hub.
Nortel VPN Routers 200 Series are customer-premise devices that provide a low-cost
VPN and stateful firewall for small offices and teleworkers providing up to five
VPN tunnels.
The Nortel VPN Router 100 is a customer-premise device that provides low cost, secure
VPNs for small branch offices and home offices - bringing these sites into a secure
enterprise network that uses larger Nortel VPN Router models at branch offices or
headquarters.
The Nortel VPN Client provides the user-side functionality for secure remote access
over IP networks using Contivity IP access routers and VPN servers.
With Nortel's VPN Client Administrator (VCA), users can be automatically provisioned
with new Nortel client versions, and updates to their connection policy files.
The Nortel Remote Access Manager is a cost-effective access and management solution
for dialup, cable/DSL, and wireless users within enterprise environments.
Nortel's SSL VPN Module 1000 extends SSL VPN access to existing IPsec VPN based
deployments. This capability is enabled with the new SSL VPN Module 1000 and 5.0
server release deployable in the VPN Router 1740, 2700 and 5000 platforms.

The Nortel Router Multi-Element Manager is an intuitive, graphical configuration
tool for provisioning Contivity services (routing, VPN, firewall, QoS) and policies
across all users (headquarters, branches, and remote users).
