Changing Time on Your Mitel System

Mitel SX 200 EL/ML Phone System

From the Operators Superconsole

To Set the Time:

  • Press Function
  • Press Att Function
  • Press Set Time
  • Enter the current time using four digits (hh:mm)
  • Press PM if applicable
  • Press Set (Set appears only if the time has been entered correctly. You can use the [ ß ] key to make corrections.)
  • Press Exit

To Set the Date:

  • Press Function
  • Press Att Function
  • Press Set Date
  • Enter the current date in day/month/year format.
  • Press Set
  • Press Exit

Mitel SX 2000 Phone System

From the Operators Superconsole 1000

To Set the Date and Time:

  • Press Function
  • Press Att Function
  • Press DateTime
  • Do one of the following
  • Press SET DATE and enter the date in YYMMDD format
  • Press SET TIME and enter the time in HHMM format, press PM if required for 12 hour format
  • Press Set (Set appears only if the time has been entered correctly. You can use the [ ß ] key to make corrections.)
  • Press Exit

To choose 12 or 24-hour time format:

  • Press Function
  • Press Att Function
  • Press DateTime
  • Press 12/24 HR.CLK
  • When AM or PM appears in the display the system is in 12-hour format
  • Press Exit

To View the Date:

  • Press Function
  • Press Att Function
  • Press DateTime

Express Messenger Voicemail

Setting Date and Time:

  • Call the Voice Mail System
  • You will hear the system greeting: press *.
  • Dial the administrators mailbox number “999” or “9999”
  • Dial the access code 6483.
  • Listen to the system prompts.
  • Press [3] for the Date/Business Hours menu.
  • Press [1] for the Set Date/Time menu.
  • Enter the month, day and year, using two digits for each:[mmddyy]
  • Enter the current time, using four digits, in the 24-hour format:[hhmm]
  • Express Messenger returns you to the Date/Business Hours menu.

Checking Date and Time on Express Messenger

Follow these steps to check the date and time:

  • Call the Voice Mail System
  • You will hear the system greeting: press *.
  • Dial the administrators mail box number “999” or “9999”
  • Dial the access code 6483.
  • Listen to the system prompts.
  • Press [3] for the Date/Business Hours menu.
  • Press [1] for the Set Date/Time menu.
  • Press [#] to skip the entry of the date, then again to skip entry of the time.
  • Express Messenger then reports the date and time currently entered on the system and returns you to the Date/Business Hours menu.

Active Voice Repartee Voice Mail System Administration

To set the system Date and Time:

  • From the Programming Terminal:
  • At the Main Menu type MI for Miscellaneous Menu
  • Press ENTER
  • Type SC for Set Clock Menu
  • At the “Enter time and date” prompt set the current time and date
  • Enter the time and date in SS MM HH wk_day mo_day mo yy (enter hours in Military time)
  • For example, to set 3:45:00 PM on Monday, March 12, 2007 you will type: 00 45 15 2 12 3 07

  • 1 = Sunday
  • 2 = Monday
  • 3 = Tuesday
  • 4 = Wednesday
  • 5 = Thursday
  • 6 = Friday
  • 7 = Saturday
